Good news! My roommate said he's okay with you visiting if you'd like to. He just asks that you not come in through the window. Also he has a sword that gets angry if someone tries to touch it without permission.
He said it's tied to him by blood and can get... temperamental if it doesn't know it's being loaned out. I have an axe with me as long as I'm dressed the part, though, so it shouldn't be a problem.
